I particularly like the way West End Training tailor the training specifically to our business and its current requirements. The Presentation and Negotiation courses were excellent and proved to be a great success for our employees involved in Sales and Purchasing, some of whom were relatively new to the Company. We will certainly be undertaking further training with West End in the future.

Our firm employs approximately 200 staff, with some departments being split into teams. Each of those teams had a team leader who was responsible for the smooth running of that team and its management. We felt that we had reached the size where we needed a bespoke management training program for those team leaders, to improve the management of each team and the firm as a whole.
We approached Paul Campbell of West End Training to tailor our requirements into a training programme. After several meetings with Paul we finalised a programme spread over a few months to allow time for feedback and to reduce the impact of having too many team leaders out of the office at the same time. The courses qualify towards the Continuing Practice Development requirements and with this in mind we split the courses so that two days of the courses fell into one CPD year and the third day of training fell into the following year. In the past we had found the content and usefulness of CPD courses to be variable and quite often of little practical benefit to the staff themselves.
Having undergone the first two days of training all staff have found the course informative, challenging and of practical benefit in their day to day jobs. The training course has raised several areas where the firm could improve its procedures and as a result we feel that already the training is paying dividends. In particular we have found that the personnel elements of the course were of particular benefit and several team members have noticeably improved since their team leader completed the course.
Paul is also providing follow up to allow him and the firm to monitor the level of success that the training has achieved. We have found that as a result, the implementation of the concepts raised in the training are high and continuing. About half the members on the course were solicitors, and the other half were either legal executives or experienced members of staff.
